SenSiCs first commercially offered sensor is a highly sensitive, single unit gas sensor for small to medium scale bio mass fired heaters for space heating in residential, commercial and institutional buildings.

The sensor is a MGD type (Multi Gas Detecting) with a very fast response and therefore allows a precise control of the combustion in heaters compared to currently available products on the market.

The detection of both burned and unburned gases (Multi Gas Detection) is necessary to allow optimization for varying fuel quality and combustion cycles. The sensor signal stability is very high and little need for

calibration is foreseen. The SenSiC sensor has been evaluated by one of the largest manufacturer of heating systems in Scandinavia.
